Who This Is For

Homeowners and small landlords running or planning a miner rated at 0.05 TH/s or higher in a bedroom, study, utility room, or mixed residential space. The assessment suits anyone who has received a noise complaint, is comparing two models, or wants baseline readings before installing ducting.

What You Receive

A written report delivered within three business days covering:

  • Sound pressure levels at one metre and at the nearest shared wall, measured with a calibrated meter
  • Vibration transfer notes for concrete and timber floors
  • Heat output estimate and ventilation requirements for your room volume
  • A shortlist of miner models that fit your noise ceiling, with honest caveats where enclosure work is unavoidable

What Is Not Included

We do not sell hardware, hold inventory, or receive commissions from manufacturers. Electrical panel upgrades and structural modifications are quoted separately if needed. The visit covers assessment only — installation is available as a separate service.

Process

  1. Initial call — You describe the room, existing ventilation, and target hash rate. We confirm whether on-site work is appropriate.
  2. Site visit — A technician arrives with metering equipment. If you already own a unit, we measure it in place. If not, we may bring a reference miner for comparison.
  3. Report delivery — Findings, photographs of duct paths, and model recommendations with expected decibel ranges under your conditions.

Provider

Assessments are conducted by Sitehemlockway field technicians with experience in apartment acoustics and ASIC thermal management. Lead assessor Ji-hoon Kim has documented over 140 residential installations in the Seoul metropolitan area since 2019.

Preparation

Clear access to the intended installation area. If a unit is already running, leave it operational for at least thirty minutes before the visit. Note any building management rules regarding noise hours.

Next Step

Contact us to schedule an assessment. Mention your borough, approximate hash rate target, and whether neighbours have raised concerns.
