Refund Policy

Overview

This policy applies to paid services booked with Sitehemlockway Mining Review Co., Ltd.: residential noise assessments, equipment matching reports, and installation support. Hardware purchased from third-party retailers is not sold by us and is not covered here.

Assessment Deposits

A ₩50,000 deposit is required to reserve an on-site assessment. Full refund of the deposit is issued if you cancel at least forty-eight hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations within forty-eight hours forfeit the deposit unless we reschedule at our discretion due to weather or staff illness.

Noise Assessment Fees

If we complete the on-site visit and deliver the written report, the assessment fee is non-refundable. If we cancel before arrival due to staff unavailability, you receive a full refund or free rescheduling.

If we arrive and cannot access the installation area due to reasons within your control (locked room, undisclosed access restrictions), a partial fee of ₩90,000 may be charged to cover travel and time.

Equipment Matching Reports

Matching reports are refundable within five business days of delivery if we have not begun custom research. Once comparative analysis is delivered, the ₩95,000 fee is non-refundable because labour is complete.

Installation Support

Installation quotes may require a thirty percent materials deposit. Deposits are refundable if cancellation occurs at least seventy-two hours before the scheduled day and materials have not been cut or customised.

If installation begins and you cancel mid-day, charges apply for labour hours completed and non-returnable materials.

Non-Refundable Items

• Completed assessment and matching reports
• Custom-cut ducting, foam baffles, and isolation materials
• Travel fees for visits where access was denied after our arrival
• Re-measurement visits outside the ninety-day included window

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted with at least forty-eight hours’ notice for assessments and seventy-two hours for installation. Additional reschedules may incur a ₩30,000 administrative fee.

No-Shows

Failure to be present at the agreed address without notice is treated as a no-show. Deposits are forfeited and remaining quoted fees may be invoiced at fifty percent.

Work Already Started

Partial refunds are not available once a report is delivered or installation milestones in the written checklist are signed off.

Refund Method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days. Bank transfers may require three additional business days depending on your institution.

Disputes

Unresolved refund disputes are handled under the governing law provisions in our Terms of Service.
