About Sitehemlockway
Independent residential mining guidance rooted in Seoul apartment living since 2019.
Official Business
Registered name: Sitehemlockway Mining Review Co., Ltd.
Established: 2019
Registered office: Office 9, 72 Placeholder-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul 00000
Our Beginning
Sitehemlockway started in a Mapo-gu apartment where three neighbours shared a ventilation shaft. One of us bought a compact ASIC advertised for home use; within a fortnight, complaints arrived about a low hum through the bathroom vent. Rather than abandon the project, we borrowed a sound meter, mapped airflow, and documented what actually worked at 0.05 TH/s in a room with paper-thin interior walls.
Word spread through local mining meetups. By 2020 we were conducting paid assessments for homeowners across Seoul who wanted hash rate without forfeiting sleep. We incorporated in 2021 to formalise liability coverage for on-site visits.
What We Do Today
We remain an advisory practice, not a hardware retailer. Our technicians measure, compare, and install — but we do not stock miners or earn referral fees. Income comes from assessment fees, matching reports, and supervised installation days.
People
Ji-hoon Kim — Lead field assessor. Former HVAC apprentice turned acoustic tester for residential crypto setups.
Soo-yeon Han — Equipment researcher. Maintains our comparison database of fan curves and power draws for units at 0.05 TH/s and above.
Dae-won Lee — Installation supervisor. Handles duct routing in older Korean apartment buildings with shared stacks.
Working Approach
We visit the actual room. Spec sheets are a starting point, not a verdict. We tell clients when a desired hash rate cannot coexist with their noise ceiling without enclosure work. We document building-management-friendly language when residents need to disclose equipment.
Values
Honest decibel readings. No manufacturer sponsorship. Respect for shared residential walls. Clear written reports a neighbour dispute can be settled with.
